Syrah Collection, Avantis
The Avantis Estate Syrah Collection is one of the top Greek Syrahs and the pride of the Avantis Estate. It is produced from a single vineyard, less than 1000 bottles per year.
TASTING NOTES:
Opaque garnet colour with ruby tints and complex bouquet of black and dried fruits (prunes, figs, blackberries), spices and vanilla, constantly developing. Huge concentration with a very full palate with aromas of ripe black fruit, jam, pepper, sweet spices, pepper ink, coffee, chocolate and tobacco. Ripe, fine-grained tannins, powerful structure and long length.
Unfiltered wine. Any amount of sediment in the bottle is quite normal.
It is recommended to be decanted 1 hour before consumed.
